In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

First and foremost, I offer my congratulations on the arrival of the blessed birth of the Leader of the Universe, the Pride of All Creation ﷺ, to all Muslims of the world, and especially to the Muslim and courageous nation of Afghanistan.

The Holy Prophet ﷺ entered a world submerged in the darkness of oppression and brutality. In the Arabian Peninsula, ignorance reached such depths that daughters were buried alive; there was no concept of labor rights, education, or basic human dignity. Amidst this environment of cruelty and ignorance, the Prophet ﷺ lit the lamps of brotherhood, love, and justice, bringing the message of humanity’s perfection. He was compassionate not only in times of peace but even in the nights of war—sparing women, children, the elderly, and even the trees and crops. He spread a perpetual light of goodness, as Rahman Baba beautifully said:

If there is light, it is the following of Muhammad; Otherwise, there is no other light in this world.

The Holy Quran states: The Great Almighty ﷺ sent that Noble Prophet as a "Mercy to the Worlds." In every dimension of his pure life, he was the embodiment of mercy. He came to end the countless sufferings of humanity, to uproot the seeds of hypocrisy and discord, and to tear down the walls of alienation. He aimed to bridge the gaps between people so that enmity would give way to affection, and the shadow of brotherhood would stretch over all human life.

It was through his call that Arab and non-Arab, black and white, rich and poor, urban and rural, man and woman were liberated from discrimination. They tasted the sweetness of equality and stood together to build the "Solid Foundation" (Banyan-un-Marsoos) of Islamic society. He sought a society where no trace of oppression, anger, violence, or injustice could be found. Thus, thousands trained in his school were saved from wretchedness, and their Islamic environment was adorned with stability, peace, and solidarity.

As we hold the honor of following such a peerless human being, it is our faith-driven duty to remain loyal to his great legacy. We must hold fast to the mantle of justice and brotherhood and strive to spread the light of compassion. As followers of the Prophet ﷺ, we consider enmity a great evil and see "Khair" (goodness) only in peace. On this blessed day, I once again invite all opponents to inter-Afghan negotiations. I tell them: your own good, the nation's good, and the good of all Muslims does not lie in turning our homes into ruins or leaving our people displaced and dependent. On the contrary, our collective success lies in following the path of the Prophet ﷺ.

Distinguished Guests! I am pleased to have many of the country's great scholars here today to clarify the truths of our faith. I ask them to guide those who have been deceived and are currently in the trenches of war and destruction.

The Seerah (biography) of the Prophet ﷺ has played a unique role in my own life. After I became a university professor in America, I dedicated an entire year in the madrasas of Pakistan to understanding the Prophetic life. One of the unique qualities of our Prophet ﷺ—as my teacher Mufti Wali Hassan Tokhi mentioned—is that unlike all other prophets, we do not just know the general pages of his life; we know every single line. This is the blessing of over a thousand years of work by our Ulama. Whenever I have faced hardship, I have returned to the Seerah again and again. From the book of Ibn Hisham to modern commentaries, it is a brilliant page of history we must always revisit. I also had the honor of being a student of one of the greatest Palestinian scholars, Dr. Tarif Khalidi, who wrote the most detailed "Interpretation of Interpretations" and is a premier translator of the Quran into English. Therefore, my request to every young Afghan—man and woman—is to always refer to the Seerah. If we truly know our Prophet ﷺ, we will need nothing else; we will find success in this world and the hereafter.

Thank you! May God keep you in honor and dignity. Long live Afghanistan! Yashasin Afghanistan! Zendeh bad Afghanistan! Cherished be the memory of the Leader of Humanity!
